Janet Kathryn (McNamara) Talbot, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on May 17th, 2024, after a long illness.
Janet was a longtime resident of Acton where she raised three children.
She was the daughter of the late Richard and Alice (Regan) McNamara and sister of the late Mary, Richard, Edmund, and Irene McNamara.
Janet was raised in Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School in 1957. She lived in Acton for over 50 years.
She worked for many years at Digital in Acton and Maynard
and as a real estate agent in Acton. After retiring, she worked at her daughter’s law office in Littleton for many years.
Janet loved reading murder mysteries and political blogs. She was the beloved mother to her surviving children Nicole Talbot and her husband Norman Roche of Groton, Eric Talbot of Groton, and Kerry Talbot of Plymouth. She is also survived by her brother David McNamara of Leesburg, Florida and many nieces and nephews.
Burial will be private at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
