Mrs. Edna E. Benson

Edna E. Benson (Gabrielson) of Carleton Willard Village, Bedford, MA, passed away on August 31st at the age of 102.  Mrs. Benson was formerly a resident of Arlington, MA, and the Scandinavian Living Center, Newton, MA, where she was known for her many miles of daily walking around the facility.  She was the loving wife of the late John A. Benson, and the stepmother of the late Eric V. Benson of Winchester, MA and the late A. Gordon Benson of New Ipswich, NH.  She is survived by niece Linda Gabrielson of Orlando, FL, 7 grandchildren and numerous great grand children.  Mrs. Benson was employed for many years before retirement by the W.R. Grace Corporation, and was a devoted lifetime member of Faith Lutheran Church of Cambridge, MA where she served in various positions. A funeral service will be held Friday September 5^th, at 11:00 am at Faith Lutheran Church, 311 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02139.  Memorial donations may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.  Arrangements by Rogers & Hutchins Funeral Home, Arlington
