Molloy, Thomas, Douglas of Arlington and East Hebron, Newfound Lake, NH passed away Sunday, April 14th, at age 90. Husband of the late Suzanne (MacGillivray) Molloy. Father of Thomas, Mike and Bette Molloy. Brother of Barbara Molloy and the late Elizabeth “Sis” Femons. Visiting hours at the Rogers & Hutchins Funeral Home, 292 Mass. Ave., Arlington, on Thursday, April 18th, from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral service at the funeral home on Friday morning at 10 am. Born in Somerville to John and Elizabeth (Boggs) Molloy, Thomas was a long time resident of Arlington and loved spending his summers in East Hebron, NH on Newfound Lake. He was a Lieutenant with the Arlington Fire Dept. for 25 years. Thomas was a Mason and longtime member of the Arlington Men’s Club. The family sends it sincerest thanks to the Bedford VA and the Mt. Auburn Hospital for all their support. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. He served proudly in World War II with the U.S. Navy as a 1st Class Petty Officer on the USS Battleship New York as a boilerman.
