Loving father of Leonardo de Melo, Terezinha de Melo and her husband Andrew Trout, Ricardo "Richie" de Melo and his wife Cheryl. Cherished grandfather of Nathaniel de Melo Trout, Aidan and Brendan de Melo. Also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Funeral from The Rogers and Hutchins Funeral Home, 292 Mass. Ave., in Arlington, Tuesday Oct.4th, at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral mass at St. Camillus Church in Arlington at 11:00 am. Visiting Hours will be on Monday Oct. 3rd from 4 to 8 pm.
Mr. de Melo was a member of Carpenter's Union Local 51 for many years. He was a skilled craftsman, noted for his intricate staircases showcased throughtout the country. Mr. de Melo was featured by various News Organizations for his light extravaganzas at Christmas.
